Before you visit
Cullen Sea School has public liability insurance in place and can provide you with proof if this is required.
It is your responsibility to produce a full Risk Assessment for your visit.
As a Group Leader, parent or teacher, you may have concerns about identifying safety standards at adventure activity centres or individual providers. The licensing of centres providing adventure activities to young people of 17 years old and under came into force on 16 April 1996. All those who provide adventure activities within scope of the Licensing Regulations 2004 must have a licence.
Children aged 6 and under must share a craft with an accompanying full paying adult (parent, guardian, carer) and children aged 7 – 11 must be accompanied by a full paying adult (parent, guardian, carer) on the water.
If your group is looking for ‘Group’ accommodation in Cullen, please be sure to make contact with Cullen Community & Residential Centre which has accommodation for up to 32 people plus two team leader rooms that both sleep 3 people.
