RYA VHF course

The Cullen Sea School is looking to run the next RYA VHF course.
The first course we held on 19th March was very successful and now looking to set a date for the next course.
The course is run in partnership with Aberdeenshire Sailing Trust which covers the use of VHF and DSC (Digital Selective Calling) procedures. The Short Range Certificate is the minimum qualification required by law to control the operation of VHF and VHF Digital Selective Calling equipment on any British flagged vessel voluntarily fitted with radio. This is a full day course incorporating tutoring and examination using radio simulators. The cost is £165 to 3HA members and £175 to non-members (£10 joining fee) which also covers pre-course reading materials.

If you are interested or in need of a certificated course in ship to shore radios, please email us on katalin@cullenseaschool.co.uk
