We are delighted to announce that Cullen Sea School has been chosen for the next round of the Co-op Local Community Fund. The specific project that will be funded is the next skiff kit that Buckie High pupils will be building for the next SQA course in 2018/19.
The funding round started on the 12 November 2017 and runs for 11 months until the 27 October 2018.
How it works
Every time Coop members shop at the Co-op, 1% of what they spend on selected own-brand products and services goes to the Co-op Local Community Fund.
The Coop also gives the CSS and the other 2 causes in your community an equal share of the money from sales of carrier bags.
3HA Members – what to do
We would be delighted if all 3HA members could sign up as Coop members (costs £1 to sign up) – online or by phone. A membership card will then be posted out to you. You can start using every time you shop in the Coop to help raise funds! If already a member, then just read on…..
Choose the Cullen Sea School as your specific local cause – you can sign up online and choose CSS, or phone the Coop membership line to choose CSS as your specific cause- choosing a specific cause then means the 1% you spend on Coop brands is attributed solely to our cause (otherwise it gets split three ways between the Cullen Coop’s 3 local causes)
If online, when you sign into your Coop membership account, you can see how much money has already been raised for CSS and you can track this. We have 11 months to raise as much money as possible!
Spread the word to friends and family and ask them to join the Coop and support our cause.
